Each August, Edinburgh comes alive with the energy of the Festival, as performers, artists and visitors gather in the city for a remarkable celebration of culture, creativity and the arts. Amid the excitement, The Witchery offers an experience all of its own, just moments from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Behind the historic façade, candlelit dining rooms, rich interiors and exceptional seasonal cooking provide an atmospheric setting in which to pause, indulge and savour the occasion.
Our menu celebrates the finest seasonal ingredients, from East Lothian lobster and hand-dived Isle of Skye scallops to Scotch beef fillet Wellington and Glenfeshie roe deer. Thoughtfully crafted dishes, refined flavours and indulgent finishes come together in the distinctive surroundings of The Witchery.
