Frequently recognised as one of the world's most unique and wonderfully romatic places to stay, the Witchery by the Castle has created five additional suites to join the renowned Old Rectory and Inner Sanctum as some of the world's greatest places to stay. The Library, Vestry, Guardroom and Armoury all have their own individual character, but each provides the perfect romantic hide-away filled with masses of antiques, opulently draped beds, rich textiles and huge roll-top baths definitely built for two! Located in a lavishly restored 17th century building just a few steps away from the Witchery in Edinburgh's historic Castlehill, these suites are possibly even more theatrical and opulent than our existing ones and will soon join them high on the lists of the world's most unique places to stay. Each suite features opulent beds, dramatic bathrooms, luxurious sitting areas, a galley kitchen and wall-to-wall luxury from the masses of antiques to the Bose sound systems and discreet air-conditioning. The Library. The gothic Library suite overlooks the historic Royal Mile and with its rich, colourful and warm decor with dramatically draped bed, masses of antique books and Paisley-covered walls it is the perfect romantic hideaway complete with a book-lined bathroom and a bath for two! The Vestry. The very gothic and theatrical Vestry also overlooks the Royal Mile and is dramatically decorated in black, red and gold ecclesiastical-style, with gilded furniture and a fantastically decadent trompe l'oiel draped and swagged bathroom The Armoury is discreetly located overlooking a small private courtyard. This huge and glamorous suite is hung with dramatic tapestries and features an oak-panelled bathroom as well as separate sittingroom and an oak four-poster bed The Guardroom is an exceptionally spacious suite overlooking the historic old-town rooftops, which features an oak panelled bathroom, separate sittingroom and a romantic bedroom panelled with antique leather A continental breakfast, chocolates, mineral water, newspapers and a complimentary bottle of Complimentary Champagne on arrival, are included within the room rate from £295 per night.
