The baroque Old Rectory has oak panelled and red fabric walls with a lavish draped bed created from an antique pulpit. Tall gilded bookcases flank the marble fireplace, whilst the separate seating area contains a French empire daybed and the entertainment centre. A separate dressingroom leads to the chapel-like bathroom with its painted vaulted ceiling and mirrored and gilded walls. Each suite features a Bose sound system, CDs, videos and books as well as cable television, direct dial telephones and mood enhancing lighting.
A continental breakfast, chocolates, mineral water, newspapers and a complimentary bottle of Complimentary Champagne on arrival, are included within the room rate from £295 per night.
