The Information that we collect

When you book with us using our online booking facility you will be asked to provide certain information such as your name, address, details of your credit card, telephone number and email address. We need this information to properly process your booking application and confirm details with you.

We use your information for the purposes listed below. We do not use your information for any other purposes and do not sell, trade, rent or pass your information to any other business or organisation unless we obtain your consent to do so.

The information that we collect about you will be used in the following ways:-

* To process your booking application or booking enquiry.
* To administer this website.
* To monitor customer traffic and site usage in order to assist in the development and improvement of our website.
* To notify you about any improvements and changes to our services, and any special offers that we think may be of interest to you.

If you have given us permission to send you information about our products and services by telephone, email or in writing, you agree that by doing so we are not in breach of the Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999 or the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) code of practice.

We would like to keep our customers up-to-date with information about improvements to this site and to our services including the services at our sister restaurant, The Tower. If you do not wish us to contact you then send an email to mail@thewitchery.com. You may continue to receive communications which are already en-route to you for a short period while your request is being processed.

Cookies are small pieces of information which can be automatically created on your computer and stored on your computer hard drive when you visit a website. Please note that we do not use cookies to obtain information about our customers.

Your data protection rights

You have the right to access the personal data that we hold on you in terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. If you wish to see the personal data that we hold on you, we can make this available, on request, for a fee of £10.00. If you feel that any of the information that we hold on you is incorrect then please advice us in order that we can make the necessary amendments.

Monitoring communications

In order to assist with the service which we provide to our customers, telephone calls to us may be recorded or monitored and used for training purposes. Furthermore to protect the operation of our computer systems we also monitor in-coming and out-going emails.

We follow strict security procedures to prevent any unlawful or unauthorised access to your information and to prevent it from being damaged or destroyed, or passed to any third party without your consent.
