Duty Manager

This is a rare and  exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to help us continually exceed our guests’ expectations. We are a fast-paced restaurant year-round so the ability to multi-task, prioritise your work and react professionally to our guests’ requirements is essential.

 The suitable candidate will be able to deliver the discreet, intuitive service which is the mark of an excellent restaurant. You will be immaculately presented and recognise the importance of blending formal service with an unpretentious atmosphere. You will already have considerable experience in a quality establishment at management level and be looking to advance your career in the hospitality industry. Our managers are hands-on, leading and inspiring the team by setting the best possible example. Your experience will mean you have a good working knowledge of food and popular drinks. With our famous 600 bin wine list, you will have the ability and confidence to assist with popular wine choices. The Witchery is also home to nine extravagant, luxury suites which are regularly booked months in advance - experience of accommodation management would be beneficial as you will also assist with Reception shifts. You will be fluent in English but competence in other languages would be as asset. A Scottish Personal License is essential.

The Witchery is a fun working environment and our staff enjoy being part of a professional team. A competitive salary is augmented by gratuities befitting a busy, fine-dining restaurant. Naturally, you will be working shifts so a flexible approach is essential but you will work 5 days a week and around 40 hours. We are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day only.
This is a full-time and permanent position so is not suitable for those with other time commitments. Those without the requested qualifications and abilities and those who have previously applied should not apply.
